In the name of God Amen.
I Judith Crow of East Aust in the parish of Lezayre widow and executrix of
Edmund Crowe lately deceased being advanced in years and in decline n life
do hereby allow and order these presents to be my last will and testament
hereby revoking and setting aside all former will or wills by me made
previous to this date hereof.
Imp I first commit my soul unto the hands of my creator and my body to the
earth to be interred in a Christian like manner as becomes my situation in
life and as touching and respecting my worldly effects.  I devise and
dispose of in the following way and manner viz:
Item I leave devise and bequeath to my eldest son and heir at law Edmund
Crow the sum of two shillings and six pence British as legacy.
Item I leave and bequeath to my son John Crowe now in Liverpool the sum of
seven pounds British as legacy.
Item I leave and devise the rest residue and remainder of what ever effects
that belongs to me after my just debts and funeral expences are paid equally
between my three daughters Eleanor the wife of William Tear.
Isabella the wife of Thomas Criggal (Cringall) and Ann Crowe equally between
them share and share a like.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint the said Ann Crowe executrix and
residuary legatee all and every my worldly effects moveable immoveable of
whatever description and to do justice to her sisters before mentioned. In
testimony whereof, I have caused my mark to be placed at my name this tenth
day of November One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty 10 Nov 1830.  Judith

At a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey on the 25th day of April 1834
Ann Crowe the executrix in the foregoing will named is sworn in court in
form of Law said will and truly to execute the last will and testament of
Judith Crowe deceased to pay all her just debts and legacies so far as the
goods and effects of the decedent will extend and the law bind her and to do
all other acts and things pertaining to the office of executrix according to
law - And to these ends she has given pledges namely William Teare and Wm
Mylecharane both of the parish of Andreas.

I John Crowe of the town of Ramsey in the parish of Maughold do acknowledge
to have received from Anne Crowe of the parish of Lezayre the executrix of
the last will and testament of Judith Crowe deceased late of the said parish
of Lezayre the sum of seven pounds British being the full amount of the
legacy left and bequeathed to me in and by the last will of the said Judith
Crowe and I do hereby release acquit and discharge the said Anne Crowe her
executors admors and assigns of the same forever.  As witness Before me

Know all men by these presents, the we William Teare in the parish of
Andreas and Wm Myllcharane of the parish of Andreas are held and firmly
bound to the Rev B. Philpot, Archdeacon of Sodor and Mann, and his
Successors, in the sum of thirty pounds British to the payment whereof well
and truly to be made, we bind Ourselves our Heirs, Executors,
Administrators, and Assigns, jointly and severally, by these present, to the
said Archdeacon and his Successors.
Witness our subscription, the 25 day of April 1834.


Whereas the Eccl Court of this Island hath this day granted probate of the
last will of Judith Crowe deceased, to Anne Crowe.
Now the condition of the above Obligation is such, that if she the said Anne
Crowe shall well and truly administer the Estate and  Effects of the said
Judith Crowe decease; and shall in all Things relating thereto conform to
the Laws of this Isle, the Orders of the Eccl Courts thereof and the Oath
she hath this day take, then the foregoing Obligation to be void, otherway
to be and remain in full force and virtue in Law.
