Philip Lace of the parish of Andreas calling to mind the uncertainty of
human life do proceed to make and publish this my last will and testament
being of sound mind and memory at the making hereof.
First - I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. Secondly -
I leave to my son John all my property of lands legacy. Thirdly - I leave to
my son William a legacy of fifteen pounds British. Fourthly - I leave to my
son Thomas a legacy of one pound British.
 Fifthly - I leave to my son Daniel a legacy of one pound British.
Sixthly - I leave to my wife Judith the bed whereon I lay with its cloths
legacy.
Lastly - I nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Judith and my son
John whole and sole executors of this my will to whom I leave all the rest
of my goods movable and immoveable of what kind or nature soever.  In
witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my name this 4th day of March 1835.

At a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey Judith Lace the widow of Philip Lace an
executrix in the foregoing will names having declined being sworn John Lace
son of the deceadent the other executor named in the said will is sworn in
court in form of law well and truly to execute the last will and testament
of Philip Lace deceased to exhibit a full true and perfect inventory of the
goods and effects of the said estate into the Archdeacons Registry to pay
all his just debts and legacies so far forth as the said goods and effects
will extend and the law bind him and to be accountable for hia
administration of the said estate when thereunto lawfully required.  And to
these ends he has given pledges namely Philip Lace and Matthais Curphey the
witnesses of the will.
