In the Name of God Amen I William Skillicorn of the Parish of KK Braddan
being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do ordain and
appoint this for my last will and Testament as follows
First I commit my soul to God and my body unto a Christian burial — —
I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Skillicorn the sum of five
shillings british
and lastly I nominate ordain and appoint my loving Wife Jane Skillicorn als
Hill whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and
residuary Legatee of all the rest of my goods and Effects movable and
immovable of what kind name and nature soever as witness my subscription
this Twentyninth day of December one Thousand eight hundred and Thirtyfive
— 1835

       At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas on the 10th day of June 1836 
Jane Skillicorn the Executrix in the foregoing will named is sworn in Court
in form of Law well and truly to execute the last Will and Testament of
William Skillicorn deceased, to pay all his just Debts and Legacies so far
as the goods and effects of the deceadent will extend and the Law bind her,
and to do all other acts and deeds pertaining to the office of Executrix
according to Law and to these ends she has given Pledges namely the
Witnesses of the Will

The said Jane Skillicorn is sworn Guardian of the child under age
