In the name of God Amen.
I Ann Kneale alias Goldsmith, widow, formerly of the Leighkerroar in KK
Andreas and now of the town of Douglas being of sound mind and memory do
make this my last will and testament in manner following:
First I commend my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial.
Item I leave and bequeath to my granddaughter Jane Quine the sum of ten
pounds British as a legacy and in case she dies before the age of twenty one
years this legacy shall not be paid.
Item I leave and bequeath to my son Patrick Kneale the sum of five shillings
British as a legacy.
Item I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann, wife of William Woods the sum
of five shillings British as a legacy.
Item:  I leave and bequeath to all others who may become claimants in
this will the sum of six pence British each.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my son in law John Morrison and my
daughter Catherine Morrison whole and sole executors of this my last will
and testament and of all and singular my goods chattels messuages and
effects dead or alive moveable and immoveable of what nature or
kind soever, and I hereby revoke and dis-annull all and every other former
testaments wills legacies bequest and executors by me in any ways
before named willed or bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other
to be my last will and testament.
In witness hereof I have hereunto set my mark this thirty first day of
January one thousand eight hundred and thirty five 1835.

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas 9th November 1837
The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely John Cain of Douglas and and William
Woods of German.
