4 Lonan In the name of God Amen I Margret Skillicorn widow of Ballacannel in the parish of KK Lonan being in my Declining years and knowing the uncertainty of this transitory Life and the certainty of Death but of a sound Disposing mind and memory Do make this my last will and testament First I commit my soul to God who gave it and my Body to a Christian Burial and as to my worldly Effects I Dispose of in manner following Item I Leave and Bequeath to three of my Daughters namely Margret wife of John Cowley Elenor wife of William Kewley and Jane wife of John Clague seven pounds manx each Item I Leave to my son Thomas Skillicorn two shillings and six pence Item I Leave six pence Legacy to any person or persons that may in this my last will and testament Lastly I revoking all other wills heretofore all words or intentions uttered Declaring this to be my Last will and Testament and nominating and appointing my Dutiful and Affectionate Daughter Ann Skillicorn whole and sole Executrix of all the rest of my goods and Chattles movable and Immovable of whatever nature or Denomination soever as witness my name hereunto subscribed this the 20th Day of February 1837 Witness present Margret Skillicorn her X mrk James Skillicorn William Corrin his X Jurati At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas on the 8th day of June 1837 Anne Skillicorn the Executrix in the foregoing Will named is sworn in Court in form of Law well and truly to execute the last Will and Testament of Margaret Skillicorn deceased, to pay all her just Debts and Legacies so far as the goods and effects of the deceadent will extend and the Law bind her, and to do all other acts and deeds pertaining to the office of Executrix according to Law. and to these ends she has given Pledges namely John Cowley and William Kewley both of the Parish of Lonan Probatum est Danl Nelson
