In the name of God Amen.
I Phillip Kewin of the parish of Andreas do proceed to make this my last
will and testament in manner following being of sound mind and memory
at the making and publishing hereof hereby revoking any wills or wills I
may at any time heretofore have made and executed.
First  - I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Secondly - I leave and devise all my rights and title except two crops of
the southwest field adjoining the High Road of that and those my purchased
lands in the parish of Jurby commonly know by the name of Croit Patrick
Kewin or by what ever other name the same is or may be known with all houses
and advantages thereto belonging to my son
William to be possessed by him immediately at and after my decease -
he paying to my executrix herein named twenty pounds British.
Thirdly -  I leave fifty pounds British to my daughter Jane wife of Jo
Skinner as legacy.
Fourthly - I leave ten pounds British to my daughter  Mary wife of Wm
Garrett as legacy.
Fifthly - I leave thirty pounds British to my daughter Catherine and it is
my will that the interest of the said thirty pounds be paid yearly to
whosoever takes care of her and with whom she lives and the said thirty
pounds to the said person after her decease.
Sixthly - I leave all my rights and title to all and singular my purchased
lands situate in the parishes of Andreas Lezayre and Jurby except my
part of Closey Quayle to my son Thomas with all houses and advantages
thereto belonging to be possessed by him immediately upon my decease
he paying to my executrix herein named sixty pounds British.
Lastly I leave and devise to my loving wife Mary all my right and title to
those houses and lands to me belonging in the town of Ramsey likewise
my part of Closesy Quayle and I leave to her the rest residue and remainder
of my goods cash credits chattels and effects of what kind or nature soever
and I hereby constitute  my wife Mary executrix of this my will in witness
whereof I hereunto subscribed my name as and for my
last will and testament in presence of the subscribing witnesses this
the 2nd day of June 1838.

23 Nov 1838 executrix sworn in form of law and pledges were William
Cain yeoman of Craig and Thomas Kewin Yeoman of Close E Kewin
Andreas.

17 Jun 1841 Mary Kewin rec'd from her son William Kewin the sum of twenty
pounds.
