5 Lonan In the name of God Amen I Margret Kewley widow of the parish of Lonan being in my Declining years and knowing the uncertainty of this transitory Life and the certainty of Death being of sound disposing mind and memory do make this my Last will and testament First I commit my soul to God who gave it and my Body to a Christian burial and as to my worldly effects I Dispose of in manner following Item I Leave and bequeath to my Daughter Ann wife of James Mylroie five Shillings Item I Leave to my Daughter Elenor Wife of Daniel Calow five Shillings Item I Leave to my Daughter Margret wife of Robert Mylroie five Shillings Item I Leave to my son Thomas Kewley five shillings Item I leave to my son James Kewley five pounds British I Leave six pence Legacy to any person that may claim in this my will Lastly I revoking all other wills heretofore all words or Intentions uttered Declaring this my Last will and testament and nominating and appointing my Dutiful and affectionate son John Kewley whole and sole Executor in this my Last will and testament of all the Rest of my goods and chattles movable and Immovable of whatever nature or Denomination sever as witness my name hereunto subscribed this the 17th Day of February 1837 Witnessed By James Skillicorn Margret Kewley her X mark Thomas Looney Jurati At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas on the 22nd day of May 1838 John Kewley the Exor in the foregoing Will named, is sworn in Court in form of Law well and truly to execute the last Will and Testament of Margaret Kewley deceased to pay all her just Debts, Legacies and funeral expenses so far as the goods and effects of the deceadent will extend and the Law bind him and to do all other Acts and deeds pertaining to the office of Exor according to Law And to these ends he has given Pledges, namely Thomas Looney and James Skillicorn the witnesses of the Will Probatum est Danl Nelson
