In the name of God Amen.
I John Clucas of Kionslieu in the parish of Kirk Patrick being of sound
mind, memory, and understanding do make this my last will and
testament in manner and form following revoking all former wills by me
heretofore made.
I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my children John, Hugh, George, Robert, Margaret,
Ann, and Charlotte legacies of ten shillings British each.
And I nominate, constitute and appoint my affectionate wife Ann Clucas
executrix and residuary legatee of this my will.  As witness my subscription
this the 22nd of March 1837.

At a Chapter Court holden in Castletown on the 27th day of May 1840.
Ann Clucas executrix sworn in court in form of law and hath given
pledges Richard Clucas and Philip Fargher.

We Richard Clucas, John Clucas, Hugh Clucas, George Clucas, Robert Clucas,
Ann Clucas, Charlotte Clucas, and children of John Clucas late of Kionslieu
deceased and William Lace and Margaret Lace otherwise Clucas his wife who is
also a daughter of the said John Clucas do hereby
consent and agree that the last will and testament of the said John
Clucas shall be received upon record and the burden of the executrix thereof
committed  to Ann Clucas the widow of the said John Clucas and the executrix
named and appointed in and by the  decedent last will and testament this
April 1840.
