In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Skillicorn of the parish of Kk Lonan are
weak in Body But of Sound Memory and understanding thank God and
considering the uncertainty of my life I have Considered to make my last
will and Testament in manner as followeth
First I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my Body to a Christian
Burrial
Item   Secondly I leave and Bequeath unto my Sons Thos and James the Legacy
of six pence Each and to my Daughter Margaret the sum of six pence Legacy
Item   Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Elenor Skillecorn all
my right and Title unto the House and garden that I now possess
Item   fourthly and lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my loving wife
Jane Skillicorn Executor of all my goods and effects of what kind or nature
Soever and this I appoint to be my last will and Testament this 2nd Day

At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas on the 25 th day of May 1841 Jane
Skillicorn the Executrix in the foregoing will named is sworn in Court in
form of Law well & truly to fulfil and execute the last Will and Testament
of Thomas Skillicorn deceased to pay all his just Debts and legacies so far
forth as the goods and effects of the deceadent will extend and the Law
bind her and to do all other acts and deeds pertaining to the office of
Executrix according to Law and to these ends she has given Pledges names
James Quayle and William Skillicrn the witnesses of the will
