		Lonan
	In the Name of God Amen
	I John Casement and Catherine Casement alias White 
	wife of Laxey in the Parish of  KK Lonan being in health 
	and of disposing mind memory and understanding and calling 
	to mind the uncertainty of this transitory life do make this 
	our Joint Will and Testament in manner followeth 
First 	We commend our souls to God and our bodies to a Christian 
	burial and with respect to such goods and effects as we 
	are possessed of we dispose as followeth 
Secondly  We Jointly leave and bequeath unto the survivor of us
	the Houses and Lands that that we have in Laxey in forsd 
	Parish the same adjoining the main road that leadeth 
	from Douglas to Ramsey and to the rent of James Quayle’s 
	and at such chief rent as hath been settled thereon all- 
	ready
Thirdly  We leave and bequeath unto our sons the sum of five 
	shillings legacy to each son and also a legacy of 
	ten shillings each to our two daughters  
	Lastly we nominate ordain and appoint the survivor 
	of us to be whole and sole Executrix of all our goods credits 
	and effects of what kind or nature soever and this we 
	appoint to be our last Will ?and Testament this the 28th of Febry and 
	the year of our Lord one Thousand eight Hundred and forty two (1842)
