1               Lonan
In the Name of God Amen
I William Calow of Lhaggin in the parish of Kk Lonan being sick and weak in
Body and knowing the uncertainty of this transitory Life and the certainty
of Death being of a sound Disposing mind and memory Do make this my Last
will and testament 
First I commit my soul to God my Creator and redeemer who gave it and my
Body to a Christian Burial and as to my worldly Effects I Dispose of in
manner following
I Leave and Bequeath unto my son William Calow Junr and to my Daughters
Margret and Jane two shillings and sixpence each
I Leave unto my two sons John Calow and James Calow the whole of my sheep
except one sheep each I Leave to my two Daughters Catherine and Mary
I Leave six pence Legacy to any person or persons that my claim in this my
will
Lastly I revoking all other wills heretofore, all word heretofor uttered
Declaring this to be my Last will and testament and nominating and
appointing my two Dutiful Daughters Cathrine Calow and Mary Calow aforesaid
whole and sole Executrixes of all the rest of my goods and chattles of
whatever nature and Denomination soever as witness my Subscription this the
1st Day of November 1842

At a Chapter Court held in Douglas 14th June 1843
Catherine Callow one of the Executrixes named in this will is sworn in
Court in form of Law in trust for her self and Mary the other Executrix a
minor well and truly to execute the Last will and Testament of William
Callow ­ And hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies ­
namely Thos Kelly and William Callow both of Lonan
