William Kenneen 1843 Decree Andreas To the Worshipful Thomas A. Corlett Vicar General etc etc etc Episcopal The humble petitioner of Thomas Clark of the Parish of Andreas Sheweth That William Kaneen father of your petitioners wife lately departed this life intestate and leaving your petitioners wife his only issue him surviving entitled to the Administration of his Estate. Wherefore your Petitioner prays a hearing of this petition and that your Worship may be pleased to grant admin of the estate of the sd Wm Kanneen unto your petitioner and she will pray etc. Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a Court to be holden at Ramsey on Friday next. Whereof all [parties] to have due when Given this 28th April 1843 T. A. Corlett. At an eccl court held in Ramsey the 21st April 1843 Upon hearing this petition in presence of Parties it appears that Wm Kanneen therein named some time ago departed this life intestate leaving the Petitnr wife his only issue and next of kin vith Catharine Kanneen his widow mother of his ? daughter who are therefore decreed joint administrators of all and singular the goods rights credits chattels and effects of the sd decead and by consent of all parties the petitr Thomas Clarke is sworn in trust will and truly to administer the sd estate to pay all just debts and funeral expenses of the deceadt and to return to the Epl Registry a full true and particular inventory of the d goods and effects with a satisfactory acct of all his acts and proceedings in the parishes when there unto lawfully required and to these ends he has given pledges who have intend with all enter in due form of law in presence of the court. Decretum est T. A. Corlett 1844 26th February. Thomas Cormode claims sterling £14. 0. 0. Whereas the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this Day granted Admon of the Estate of Wm Kaneen into of the parish of Andreas deceased, to Thomas Clarke And Whereas Cathern Kaneen of Ballaseyre in the Parish of Andreas and James Kneale of the Dhowne in the Parish of Andreas have agreed to become pledges to the said Norman Clarke Therefore, Know All Men by these Presents, that We, the said Catherine Kaneen and Jas Kneale hereby bind and oblige ourselves, and our executors, and administrators, as Pledges to the said Thos Clarke for the due and faithful administration of the good and effects of the said deceased, according to law, witness our subscriptions, this 21 day of April 1843.
