In the name of God Amen.
I Ellener Cannell of the parish of Kirk Michael being of sound mind memory
and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner following:
First I commend my soul to Almighty God and my body to Christian
burial.
Item I give and bequest unto my Brother's John Cannell and Hugh Cannell five
shillings each as legacy.
Item I give and bequest unto my sister Ann wife of John Wood five shilling
as legacy. And anyone that clames in this my last will his to be dismist
with one shilling each.
Lastly I nominate ordain constitute and appoint my nephew of Kerroglass in
the parish of Michael son of my sister Ann Cannell James Claudius Crellin
whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament of the remainder
of all my goods and effects whither moveable or immoveable of what nature
kind or denomination so ever they be ratfying and confirming this and no
other to be my last will and testament. .Where I have caused my names and
mark to be hereunto suscribed and set this the 20th day of July one thousand
eight and forty one.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael on the 30th May 1844.
James Claudius Crellin the executor in the foregoing will named is sworn in
court in form of law well and truly to execute the last will and testament
of Ellener Cannell deceased to pay all her just debts and legacies so far
forth as the goods shall extend and the law bind her and to do all other
acts and deeds in the office of executrix according to law and to these ends
have given pledges namely Wm Cannon and Thos Crain -----of Michael
