At an Ecclesiastical Court held in Ramsey the 28th of March 1845. 
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties and their Advocates, it appears that Margaret Cowley 
of Lezayre departed this life sometime ago intestate, leaving John Cowley, her husband, her survivor besides 
John Cowley, Jr., Thomas Cowley, Anne Kelly, wife of Thomas Kelly, Robert Cowley, William Cowley, Jane Cowley, 
Philip Cowley, her children, and next of kin, all of whom are thereupon decreed joint administrators of all 
and singular the goods, rights and credits, chattels and effects of the said deceased. John Corlett of the Kelle, 
being recommended to this Court as a fit and proper person to administer to the personal estate of the said 
deceased in trust for her said husband and next of kin is sworn in trust for her said husband and next of kin 
is sworn in trust, well and truly to administer the said estate, to pay all just debts and funeral expenses of 
the said deceased so far forth as the goods will extend and the law bind and to return to the Registry a true 
and perfect inventory of the estate, with an accurate account of all his acts and proceedings.
A further account of the proceeds of the Estate of Margaret Cowley, late of Crammag in the Parish of Lezayre 
to be appended to the accounts already returned to the Episcopal Registry.
Sale of Bond and Security on the property of Philip Cowley of Lezayre and in the accounts returned as with 
their recoverable, being sold by auction and brought by William Cowley for 51 pounds-0-0 Expenses attending 
the sale 15 pounds-0-0.
Interest having arisen on a section on Narradal, the property of Thomas Cowley from the date of Deed in January 7 
up to the month of May, when the principal was paid, the said interest not having been paid by Thomas Cowley, who 
was one of the children of the deceased 12 pounds-0-0. Inventory not included.
