         German 1847
In the name of God Amen I Silvester Collister of Close e Garey in the
Parish of Kirk German being of sound mind memory and understanding but
considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make this my last
will and testament in manner and form following.
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to be buried at the
directions of the co-executors of this my last will.
Item I give devise and bequeath to my granddaughter Eliza Collister,
daughter of my son Thomas Collister  the sum of one pound sterling
legacy.
Item I give devise and bequeath to my sons William Collister, Thomas
Collister and Charles Collister, and my daughters Leonora Collister and
Elizabeth Collister six pence each as legacy.
Item I give devise and bequeath to my loving and affectionate wife Jane
Collister otherwise Crellin and to my son John Collister the whole of my
personal property, goods, and effects, and I do further nominate constitute
and appoint them the said Jane Collister and John Collister
whole and sole joint executors and residuary legatees of this my last
will and testament, hereby revoking and altering any former will or
wills by me at any time before made.  In witness whereof I the said
Silvester Collister have hereunto subscribed my name or X mark this
Sixth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and
forty four.

Signed published and declared in the presence of us, who at the request
of the testator in his presence and in the presence of each other, put our
names thereto as witnesses.
