In the name of God amen.
I Jane Corlett widow of the late Robert Corlett of Carmodyl Mooar in the
parish of Ballaugh being of a sound disposing mind memory and understanding
do make declare and publish this my last will and
testament in the following manner and form:
First I commend my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary Killip the sum of five pounds
and my clock as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my granddaughter Jane Corlett daughter of Daniel
Craine my red chest as legacy.
I give devise and bequeath unto Daniel Craine my son in law and to Jane
his wife all and singular my right title interest and property whatsoever
in and to that my Curragh Intack land called  and known by the name of Close
Thomson situate at the Curragh in the parish of Ballaugh together with all
and singular my right title interest and property whatsoever in
and to another parcel or parcels of intack land with the  buildings
thereon erected and called and known  by William  Stephens Croft and
now occupied by Wm Stephens situate at or To Have and to Hold the said
several premises and intack lands with the appurtenances unto them the said
Daniel Craine and Jane his wife their heirs and assigns absolutely forever
commencing possession after my decease.
I give devise and bequeath unto my grandson Danl Craine my whole right title
interest and property whatever in and to the East parcel of my Curragh
intack land called the Close Keil situated in the parish of
Ballaugh To Have and to Hold the said parcel of intack land with its
appurtenances unto the said Daniel Craine his heirs and assigns
absolutely forever commencing possession after my decease.
And I also give devise and bequeath unto my said grandson Daniel Craine
on the the hereinafter mentioned conditions my whole right title
interest and property whatever in and to another the middle parcel of my
Curragh intack land called the Close Keil situate in Ballaugh aforesaid To
Have and to Hold the said parcel of my intack land with its
appurtenances unto the said Daniel Craine his heirs and assigns
absolutely forever commencing possession thereof after my decease on the
following conditions that is to say that when the said Daniel Craine comes
into possession of the said last named parcel of land he is to give up his
title to the same unto the heirs of the late John Killip my son in
law or to whoever holds my right (besides my right) in the first named
East parcel of Close Keil on condition that the said heirs of the said John
Killip or whoever holds my right (besides me) in the said East parcel of
Close Keil or give up their right and title to the same unto the said Danl
Craine and his heirs and assigns but if the party holding right to the said
East parcel of Close Keil refuse or decline to give up their right and title
to the same unto the said Danl Craine his heirs and assigns then and in that
case the said Danl Craine is to Have the said Middle parcel of Close Keil to
him and his heirs and assigns to Have and to Hold forever.
I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Killip my whole right
title interest and property whatsoever in and to the West parcel of my
Curragh intack land called Close Keil situate in the parish of Ballaugh To
Have and to Hold the said parcel of Curragh land with its appurtenances unto
her the said Mary Killip her heirs and assigns absolutely forever commencing
possession thereof after my decease.
I leave and bequeath to my maid servant Isabella Killip my round table as
legacy.
I leave and bequeath to any person or persons who may be lawfully
entitled to participate in any part of my goods and effects and not
hereinbefore provided for the sum of five shillings each as legacy. Lastly
I nominate constitute ordain and appoint my aforesaid son in law Daniel
Craine whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament and
residuary legatee all and singular the rest and remainder of all my goods
money credits and effects of all description whatsoever or wheresoever
in testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed or caused to be subscribed
my name and mark this the 21st Twenty First day of July
1846.

The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely John Craine of Ballacorague
and Thomas W. Corlett of Carmodil beg both in the parish of Ballaugh
