In the Name of God Amen This is the last will and testament of John Creer of the parish of Arbory being of sound mind and memory at the making thereof. Therefore calling to mind the mortality of his body know- ing that it is appointed unto all men once to die do make and ordain this his last will and testament in manner following. First I commend my Soul unto God who gave it and my Body unto Christian Burial Secondly I leave and bequeath unto my son Richd Creer the sum of Two Shillings and sixpence -- Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Esther the sum of Two Shillings and sixpence -- Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Catharine the sum of Two Shillings and sixpence Fifthly I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Margret the sum of Two Shillings and sixpence Sixthly I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth the sum of Two Shillings and sixpence Lastly I leave constitute and ordain my Daughter Jane Creer to be whole and Sole Executrix of all my Goods and chattels of what denomination Soever moveable and immoveable also my share of houses gardens and ??????? thereunto belonging & leaving all other claimants of affinity thereto Two shillings and Sixpence Legacy. This 13th day of February 1843 John Creer my + Witnessed by Thos Qualtrough Robert Kewley At a Chapter Court held in Castletown 25th May 1847 The Executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law and has given pledges for the payment of debts and Legacies Namely Richd Duke and John Clark Probatum Est Da? Nelson Ar:Off Whereas the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this Day granted Probate of the last will and Testament of John Creer late of the parish of Arbory deceased to Jane Creer the Executrix in the said will named. And whereas Richard Duke of Ballakelly in the parish of Arbory aforesaid and John Clarke of Castletown in the Parish of Malew have agreed to become pledges to the said Jane Creer Therefore know all men by these Presents, that We, the said Richard Duke and John Clark hereby bind and oblige ourselves and our Executors and Administrators as Pledges to the said Jane Creer for the due and faithful Administration of the Goods and Effects of the said Deceased, according to Law.
