The Petition of Robert
Corlett of the Parish of
Braddan.

Sheweth
	That John Corlett of the Parish of Marown your
	petitioners Brother sometime since
	departed this life Intestate.
	That it is necessary that
	Administration of the Estate and
	Effects of the said John Corlett
	should be granted to some fit 
	and proper person.

	Wherefore Petr. prays
	a hearing hereof and
	that your Worship may
	be pleased to grant
	letters of Administration
	of the Estate and
	Effects of the said
	John Corlett to Petr.
	and he will pray.

Ordered that this Petition do come
on to be heard at a Court to be 
holden at Douglas upon Friday
next whereof all proper parties to
have due notice.

At an Eccl. Court held in Douglas the 15th Feby. 1850.

John Corlett of Marown having departed this life some short
time ago a Bachelor leaving the Petr. Robt. Corlett his only
Brother and next of kin, the sd. Robert Corlett is therefore
Decreed sole Admin. of all and singular the Goods Rights
Credits Chattels and Effects of the deceased and is sworn
well and truly to administer the same according to law
by paying the just debts and funeral expenses of the dec’d.
so far forth as the Goods will extend and the law bind him
and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese
a full true and perfect Inventory of the same with an
accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the
Premises when there unto lawfully required.  And to these
ends he has given pledges namely Geo. Moore and Wm.
Tomyns Plunkett who have executed the usual Bond
in presence of the Court.

WHEREAS the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this day 
granted Administration of the Estate of John Corlett late of
Marown deceased, to Robert Corlett of the Parish of Braddan.

AND WHEREAS George Moore of Camlork
in the Parish of Braddan and William Tomyns Plunkett
of Mount Murray in the Parish of Braddan have agreed
to become pledges to the said Robert Corlett for the due administration
of the said Estate according to law.

Therefore know all men by these Presents, that we, the said George Moore
and William Tomyns Plunkett hereby bind and oblige ourselves and our Executors 
and Administrators, as pledges to the said Robert Corlett for the due and 
faithful administration of the goods and effects of the said deceased according to law.  
And in his default we bind ourselves and our Executors and Administrators 
to be answerable to all parties interested in the said Estate, or the Administration thereof.
Witness our subscriptions this Fifteenth day of February 1850.
