We the undersigned being a jury of four men summoned convened
and sworn by John Stephen Sumner of Ballaugh (who is also an admininstrator
of the personal Estate of John Corlett of Ballaneddin in the said parish deceased)
in order to find out and appraise the Goods Chattels and Effects
which were of the said John Corlett of Balla Neddin deceased.
Having examined on oath John Corlett Daniell Corlett

We also discover that John Corlett junior eldest son of the

for a written Bargain or Deed of Settlement of the
Estate or lands of Balla Neddin in Ballaugh to which
we report & submit for the consideration of the proper
Court or Courts of Law to grant whether the same be or be
not legally or Equitably payable as part of the
personal Estate of the deceased, as the said John Corlett
junior alleges the same has been discharged by the
sale of parts of the real property so settled in the
life time of John Corlett Senior for the amount of
Promissory Notes which the said John Corlett
junior had passed along with his said father
deceased for the sole use & accommodation of the said
John Corlett Senior. But touching the said £100
and the disputed points relative thereto, we consider
ourselves incompetent to decide & submit all
questions regarding the same to the proper Court or
Courts for adjudication.

We also find that at the time of the
death of the sd. John Corlett Senior he had belonging
to him a field of Wheat adjoining the main

unable to appraise the value thereof or
ascertain precisely who is accountable for
the same – All which matters we leave to
