Margaret Clark 24 Jurby 1850 To the Worshipful Thomas Arthur Corlett Vicar General The humble petition of John Clark Philip Clark Ann Brew Jane Clark Catharine Clark Margaret Clark and Elizabeth Clark of the parish of Jurby. Sheweth That your petitioner’s mother Margaret Clark of Ballagarraghan in the parish of Jurby lately departed this life intestate and it is necessary to have some proper person appointed to Administer her estate. Wherefore your petitioners pray a hearing of this petition and that your Worship may be pleased to Grant Administration of the estate of the said Margaret Clark unto your petitioner John Clark for himself and in Trust for your other petitioners and they will pray. Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a Court to be holden at Ramsey on Saturday next whereof all proper parties to have due notice. Given this 27th day of April 1850. T.A. Corlett At a Specl. Eccl. Court held in Ramsey the 27th April 1850. Upon hearing this Petition in presence of the parties or their Advocates and it appearing that Margaret Clark Widow lately departed this life Intestate leaving issue her children & next of kin, John Clark, Philip Clark Anne Brew ........ widow, Jane Clark, Cath. Clark, Margt. Clark and Elizabeth Clark who are Decreed joint Administrators of all and singular the Goods, Rights, Credits Chattels and Effects of the Deceased and the sd. John Clark by consent of parties is sworn well and truly to administer the sd. Estate according to law, to pay all just debts and funeral expenses so far forth as the Goods will extend and the law bind him and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese a full true and perfect Inventory of the sd. Estate with an accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the Premises when thereunto lawfully required and and to these ends he has given pledges namely the sd. Philip Brown and John Brew who have executed the usual Bond in presence of the Court. Decretum est. T.A. Corlett We the undersigned next of kin of Margaret Clark of Ballagarraghan in the parish of Jurby deceased has lately departed this life intestate do hereby desire and request that Administration of the estate of the said Margaret Clark shall be granted unto our brother John Clark in trust for himself ......
