Catharine Kneale  30  Lonan   1850

At a Chapter Court, holden at 
Douglas on the 17th day of May 1850.

Catharine Kneale of the Parish of
Kirk Lonan having departed this life on or about
the fifth day of November last past Intestate; and
this Court having received intelligence thereof, hath (for the preservation of the rights
of all persons concerned) Decreed Thomas  Kneale, John Kneale, Robert
Kneale, Elizabeth Clague wife of William Clague, Isabella Kneale
and Eleanor Kelly wife of Robert Kelly said deceadants'
next of kin - Joint Administrators
of all and singular the Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels and
Effects, moveable and immoveable whatsoever of the said Deceadent.  And
the said William Clague, and 
Thomas Kerruish are in Trust
thereupon sworn, well and truly to Administer the same, to pay all the Intestate's 
just Debts, so far forth as the Goods will extend and the law bind; and return into
the Episcopal Registry a full, true and perfect Inventory thereof, and an
accurate Account of all Transactions, touching the same when thereunto lawfully required.

And to these ends the said William Clague and Thomas Kerruish have given Pledges
in form of Law, namely Thomas Moore and
Thomas Kneale who have executed 
a Bond to that effect bearing equal
date herewith.

WHEREAS the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this day granted Letters of Administration
of all and singular the Goods & Effects of Catharine Kneale late of 
Lonan deceased, to William Clague & Thos. Kerruish
in trust for the next of kin of said Deceadent therein
named.

AND WHEREAS Thos. Moore of Ballakilley
in the Parish of Lonan and Thos. Kneale
of Ballachrink in the Parish of Lonan have agreed
to become pledges to the said Wm. Clague and Thos. Kerruish for the due administration
of the said Estate according to law.  

Therefore know all men by these Presents, that we, the said Thos. Moore
and Thos. Kneale hereby bind and oblige
ourselves and our Executors and Administrators, as pledges  to the said Wm. Clague
and Thos. Kerruish for the due and faithful administration of the goods
and effects of the said deceased according to law.  And in their default we bind ourselves and our Executors
and Administrators to be answerable to all parties interested in the said Estate, or the Administration thereof.
Witness our subscriptions this 17th day of May 1850.
