Maughold 1851 68 The humble petition of William Kerruish of Ballallen in the parish of Maughold Sheweth: That your petitioner's son Robert Kerruish of the town of Ramsey draper lately departed this life a bachelor and intestate and it is essentially necessary that some proper person should be appointed to administer his estate. Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing of this petition and that your Worship may be pleased to grant administration of the estate of the said Robert Kerruish unto your petitioner and he will pray. Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be holden at Ramsey on this day whereof all proper parties and persons to have due notice. Given this 27th September 1837. T. A. At an Eccl Court held in Ramsey 27th Sep 1851 William Kerruish father of Robert Kerruish sworn as administer of the same with pledges John Kerruish of Bwooilley Veld and John Kerruish of Baldromma Beg in the parish of Maughold have executed the usual bond in present of the court.
