In the name of God Amen,
I Joshua Anderson of Close Leece in the parish of KK Patrick being of a
sound mind memory and understanding but considering the uncertainty of this
mortal life do make this my last will and testament in manner and form
following:
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to be buried at the
directions of my Executrix herein after named.
Item I leave devise and bequeath unto my five children namely my daughter
Ann,  William Quayle's wife, Elizabeth,  wife of William Costain, Isabella,
wife of Henry Quane, and Robert and William my sons the sum of two shillings
and six pence each as legacy.
Item I leave devise and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the sum of one pound
British and the bed and bedding whereon she lieth as legacy.
 Lastly I nominate constitute my beloved wife whole and sole executrix of
all the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattles and effects be they
of whatever name description or denomination and I do debar any other legal
claimant with two shillings and six pence legacy.
In witness whereof I the said Joshua Anderson have hereunto subscribed my
name or mark to my name this fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty one 1851.

At an Eccl Court held in KK Michael the 27th May 1852.
Thomas Cosnahan and Wm Watson the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Joshua
Anderson  deceased having made oath on the Holy Evangelists that the said
testator when of sound mind and understanding duly signed and executed the
same in their presence Elizth Anderson the executrix is therefore sworn well
and truly to fulfil and execute the said will according to law to pay all
just debts legacies and funeral expenses so far forth as the goods will
extend and  the law bind her and to return to the Archdeacon's Registry of
this diocese a full true and perfect inventory of the same with an accurate
account of her acts and proceedings in the premises when then unto lawfully
required and to these ends she has given pledges namely Thomas Halsal and Wm
Watson who have executed the usual bond in presence of the court.

Whereas the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this day granted
probate of the last will and testament of Joshua Anderson late of the parish
of Patrick deceased, to Elizabeth Anderson his widow.
And whereas Thomas Halsal of Ballashey in the parish of Patrick and William
Watson of Ballaleece in the parish of German have agreed to become pledges
to the said Elizabeth Anderson for the due administration of the said Estate
according to law.
Therefore know all men by these Presents, that we, the said Thomas Halsal
and Wm Watson hereby bind and oblige ourselves and our Executors and
Administrators, as pledges to the said Elizabeth Anderson, Executrix of the
said Joshua Anderson for the due and faithful administration of the goods
and effects of the said deceased according to law.  And in her default we
bind ourselves and our Executors and Administrators to be answerable to all
parties interest in the said Estate, or the Administration thereof.

At an Eccl Court held in KK Michael 27th May 1852 Taken by me  T. A.
Corlett.
By virtue of the Worshipful Vicar General Corlett authority I have charged
Isabella Quane and left charge for Henry Quane of Peel as defendants to
appear before his presence at an Ecclesiastical Court to be holden in KK
Michael on Thursday next at 10 o'clock in the forenoon when called to answer
the suit of Elizabeth Anderson wife of Joshua Anderson this the 24th day of
May 1852.  Robert Keown Sumner of German
By Virtue of an order granted upon a petition by his worship Vicar General
Corlett I have charged Robert Anderson, William Anderson, and Jane Anderson
and charged Elizabeth Costain and left charge for William Costain her
husband and charged and left charge for William Quane and Ann his wife next
of kin of the late Joshua Anderson deceased and charged Thomas Cosnahan and
left charge for court to be holden in KK Michael on Thursday next when
called to answer the suit and petition of Elizabeth Anderson widow this 22nd
May 1852.
