I Margaret Cannon wife of Robert Cannon of Peeltown is complaining poorly
with a severe cold but sound and perfect in mind and memory
forth this her last will and testament first she commits her sole to God and
her body to Christian burial.
She leave and bequeaths to her daughter Margaret a bed and bed
cloathing.  Likewise my cloathing and twenty pounds British but the 20
lbs is not to be paid her until she will be 24 years of age.
Lastly she leaves  nominate and appoint my beloved husband whole and
sole executor of all the rest of my goods moveable and immoveable being of
what kind so ever and debarring any other person that will cleave
further rights to my goods with 2 shilling 6 pence legacy bearing date
this 2nd day of March 1837.

John Crellin one of the subscribing witness to the foregoing paper
writing purporting to be the will of Margaret Cannon deceased having
made oath on the Holy Evangelists that said Margaret Cannon the
Testatrix when of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding duly
signed and executed the same in his presence and also in presence
of John Crellin the other subscribing witness thereto.   And Robert
Cannon the executor therein named having also departed this life
administration with the said will annexed is committed and granted to
Margaret Kelly widow their only child who is therefore sworn well and
truly to administer the goods rights credits chattels and effects of said
testatrix according to law - to pay all just debts legacies and funeral
expenses of said testatrix so far forth as the goods and effects will extend
and the law bind her.  And to return to the Archdeacon's Registry
a full true and perfect inventory of said goods and effects with an accurate
account of her acts and proceeding in the premises when there unto lawfully
required and to these ends she hath given pledges namely William Cannon of
Ballakaighin in the parish of German and Daniel Caine
of Ballanea in the parish of Michael who have executed the usual bond in
presence of the court.
