78 Maughold The humble petition of Jane Joughin of Rhenab in the the parish of Maughold Sheweth that Jane Joughin who was mother of your petitioner sometime in the month of March last departed this life having in her life time duly signed and executed a deed bearing date the 26th day of January 1855 conveying all and singular her property goods and effects to your petitioner. That it is necessary that administration of the said deceased estate should be granted to your petitioner with the said deed annexed. Your petitioner therefore prays a hearing hereof and that your petitioner be sworn to administer the estate of the said Jane Joughin deceased with the said deed annexed and your petitioner shall pray. Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an Eccl Court to be holden in Ramsey on Friday next at 10 oŒclock whereof all proper parties and persons to have due notice. Given this 14th May 1855 T. A. Corlett. At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey on the 18th day of May 1855. Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties or their advocates and upon examining Thomas A. Corlett Junior and John Corlett the subscribing witnesses to the execution of a Deed of Settlement bearing date the 26th January 1855 granted by Jane Joughin widow, late of Rhenab in the parish of Maughold deceased to her daughter Jane Joughin whereby the grantor conveyed the whole of her personal estate property and effects to the said Jane Joughin the younger, and upon consideration of the said evidence then emitted and of what was otherwise argued and alleged by and on behalf of the parties respectively this court is of opinion that the execution of the said paper by the said Jane Joughin the elder has been duly proved and that the same ought to be accepted by this court as and for the last will and testament of said Jane Joughin And that administration with said Deed annexed should be granted to said Jane Joughin the grantee as prayed for and the same is hereby so ordered and decreed accordingly T.
