the humble petition 
of John Kermode of Douglas
Constable

Sheweth
That William Creer and Elizabeth
Creer of Ballasalla in the parish
of Malew some time since decl’d
made and published their last
will and testament
That the said Elizabeth Creer 
departed this life in the life
term of the said William Creer
and the said William Creer some
time since departed this life
without working on attending 
to said will
But your petitioner has
been requested by the next of
kin to obtain admin’n of the
estate of the said William Creer
with the said will annexed.
Therefore your petitioner
humbly prays a
hearing hereof and that
your worship may be
pleased to grant admin’n
of the state of the said
William Creer with his
said will annexed
& your petitioner will then
pray &c

Ordered that the petition do come
on to be heard at a Vicars Court
to be holden at Douglas on Friday
next. Whereof all proper parties 
are given due notice.
Given the 14 Dec 1855

At an Ecclesiastical court held at Ramsey
21st Dec 1855 

Upon hearing this petition in presence of the petitioners &
their advocates and upon examination of John 
Radcliffe one of the subscribing witnesses to the
last will and testament of William Creer
deceased I am proposing that the due execution
of the last will has been ?????? and that probate
thereof should be ???? ?????? for and the
same is therefore truly sworn and adjudged and
shewn accordingly		TA Corlett

We the undersigned & next of kin of William
Creer late of Ballasalla deceased do
hereby consent to John Kermode of Douglas
constable being sworn Administrator with
the will annexed of the said William 
Creer at the Vicar Generals Court in
Douglas on Friday next
