In the name of god Amen I James Kewley of Gretch veg in the parish of Kk
Lonan being weak in body but of a sound Disposing mind and memory Knowing
the uncertainty of this transitory Life and the certainty of Death Do make
this my Last will and testament
First I commit my soul to God who gave it and my Body to a Christian Burial
and as to my worldly effects I Dispose of in manner following
I Leave and beaqueath to my Daughter Margret wife of William Kerruish the
money I promised to her in marriage portion which is Lodged in Ballafail
Cannel in the parish of Maughold which is provided for the same
I Leave twenty pounds to my son Edward Kewley
I Leave to sons James Kewley and Thomas Kewley two shillings and six pence
each
I leave six pence Legacy to any person or persons that may claim in this my
will
Lastly I revoking all other wills heretofore all words or intentions
uttered Declaring this to be my Last will and Testament and nominating and
appointing my well Beloved wife Judith Kewley alias Fargher whole and sole
executrix of all my goods and chattles moneys Bills Bonds and [..?..ties]
movable and immoveable of whatever nature and Denomination soever as
witness my name hereunto subscribed this the 11th Day of March 1856
