The humble petition of Elizabeth Corlett of the town of Ramsey widow.
Sheweth That our petitioneršs husband Edward Corlett of the town of Ramsey
Merchant departed this life intestate on  the thirteenth day of December
instant leaving your petitioner and seven infant children
entitled to his estate.
That it is necessary to have some proper person immediately appointed to
administer the estate of the said Edward Corlett and that James Corlett of
the town of Ramsey Painter has consented so to do for the benefit of your
petitioner and her children.  Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing of
this petition and that your Worship may be pleased to grant Administration
of the estate of the said Edward Corlett unto the said James Corlett in
trust for your petition and Edward Corlett, John James Corlett, Elizabeth
Corlett, Thomas Henry Corlett, Mary Jane Corlett,
Alfred Corlett, and Catherine Christian Corlett , children of the said
Edward Corlett and your petitioner will pray.
29 Dec 1857 James Corlett uncle of children sworn as executor in trust with
pledges Daniel Callow and William Corlett both of Ramsey.
It is my wish and desire that James Corlett be administrator to my late
husband (Edward Corlett's) estate as witness my name this 29th day of
December 1857.   Elizabeth Corlett
