In the name of God Amen.  Elizabeth Crowe widow of the late Edmund Crowe of
Aust in the parish of Lezayre being weak in body but of sound and disposing
mind and memory do proceed to make this my last will and testament in form
following
First I commend my soul to God and by body to Christian burial.
Second I leave and bequeath to my son Edmund Crowe the sum of five shillings
as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizth wife of Hugh Cannell  the sum of
five shillings as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Catharine wife of James Peel the sum of
five shillings as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ann wife of Henry Finch the sum of five
shillings as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margarett wife of Hugh Callow the sum of
five shillings as legacy.
I nominate constitute and appoint my daughter Susannah wife of Robert Colvin
whole and sole executrix of all the rest of my goods credits chattels and
effects of what kind or nature soever.  And this I make as my last will and
testament this 12th Feb 1858.

At a Chapter Court held in Ramsey on the 13th day of May 1859.
John Cleator and Thomas F. Kneale the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
paper writing purporting to be the will of Elizabeth Crowe deceased having
made oath upon the Holy Evangelists that said Elizabeth Crowe the testatrix
when of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding duly signed and
executed the same as and for her last will and testament in their presence.
Robert Colvin husband of Susannah the executrix in said will named in right
of his said wife is therefore sworn well and truly to fulfill and execute
the same according to law to pay all the just debts, legacies, and funeral
expenses of said testatrix so far forth as the goods and effects will extend
and the law bind him to return to the Archdeacon's Registry a full true and
perfect inventory of said estate and effects with an accurate account of his
acts and proceedings in the premises when thereunto lawfully required.  And
to these ends he hath given pledges namely Thomas F. Kneale and John Cleator
who have entered into and executed the usual bond in presence of the Court.

Whereas the Eccl Court of this Diocese hath this day granted probate of the
last will and testament of Elizabeth Crowe deceased, to Susannah Colvin the
executrix therein named.
And Whereas Thomas F. Kneale of Aust in the parish of Lezayre and John
Cleator of Dhoon in the parish of Lezayre have agree to become pledges for
the said Robert Colvin for the due administration of the said estate
according to law.
Therefore know all men by these Present, that we, the said Thos F. Kneale
and John Cleator hereby bind and oblige ourselves and our Executors and
Administrators, as pledges for the said Robert Colvin for the due and
faithful administration of the goods and effects of the said deceased
according to law.  And in his default we bind ourselves and our Executors
and Administrator to be answerable to all parties interest in the said
Estate, or the Administration thereof.
Witness our subscription this 13th day of May 1859.
