     To His Worship Thomas
     Arthur Corlett Esq. Vicar
     General 
 
     The humble petition 
     of Judith Kelly widow
     of the late William 
     Kelly late of 
     in the parish of 
     Braddan
 
Sheweth
            That William Kelly
            late of ________ in the parish
            of Braddan departed this
            life on the 29: day of 
            July last intestate.
 
            That it is necessary
            that administration of
            the Estate of the said
            William Kelly should be
            forthwith granted.
            
            Wherefore
            your Petitioner
            humbly prays
            a hearing hereof and
            that administration
            of the Estate of the said
            William Kelly be 
            granted to your Petitioner
            and she ___________
            prays.

Ordered that this petition do
come on to be heard at an Ecclesiastical
Court to be holden at Douglas
on Friday next whereof all
proper parties are to have due
notice.  Given this 13 day of March 1859.

At an Eccl. Court held in Douglas the
16th March 1860
 
Upon hearing this Petition in presence of the parties or their
advocates and it appearing that William Kelly lately
departed this life Intestate Judith Kelly the widow of the
deceased is sworn in trust for the benefit of all the next
of kin well and truly to administer the Estate and
Effects of the sd. deceased according to Law to pay all
just debts and funeral expenses of the decd. so far forth
as his Goods will extend and the law bind her to return
a true and faithful Inventory thereof with an accurate
account of her acts and proceedings in the premises
to the Episcopal Registry when thereunto lawfully
required and to these ends she has given pledges namely
Charles Cleator and James G. Gelling who have
entered into and executed the usual Bond in presence
of the Court. Decretum Est.   - T.A. Corlett
 
WHEREAS the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese hath this day granted administration of all
and singular the Goods & effects of William Kelly
deceased, to Judith Kelly.
 
AND WHEREAS Charles Cleator of Douglas
in the Parish of Braddan and J.G. Gelling
of Douglas in the Parish of Braddan have agreed
to become pledges for the said Judith Kelly for the due administration
of the said Estate according to Law.
 
Therefore know all men by these Presents, that we, the said C. Cleator
and J.G. Gelling hereby bind and oblige
ourselves and our Executors and Administrators, as pledges for the said Judith Kelly
for the due and faithful administration of the goods and 
effects of the said deceased according to law.  And in her default we bind ourselves and our Executors
and Administrators to be answerable to all parties interested in the said Estate, or the Administration thereof.
Witness our subscription this 16 day of March 1860.
