Bride To his Worship Vicar General Corlett The humble Petition of John Christian of the Parish of Bride Sheweth That sometime ago your Petitioner's son John Christian departed this life Intestate. That it is necessary that some fit and proper person be appointed to Administer to the Estate of the said Deceased. Wherefore your Petitioner prays a hearing hereof and upon proof of the matters aforesaid your Worship may be pleased to appoint and swear ________ Kneale of the said Parish of Bride Administrator to the estate of the said John Christian decd. And your Petitioner will ever pray. Thomas A. Corlett for Petitioner Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an Ecclesiastical Court to be holden at Ramsey on Friday next at 10 A.M. whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due notice. Given this 20th day of March 1860 At an Ecclesiastical Court held in Ramsey the 23rd March 1860. Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties or their advocates and it appearing that John Christian Junior departed this life Intestate leaving the Petitioner his father and only next of kin him surviving who is therefore decreed sole administrator of all and singular the Goods Rights Credits Chattels and Effects of the sd. decd. and _______ Kneale being recommended as a fit and proper person to administer the Estate and Effects of the sd. decd. he is therefore sworn well and truly to administer the sd. Estate according to Law to pay all just debts and funeral expenses of the said deceased so far forth as his Goods will extend and the Law bind him to return a true and faithful Inventory thereof with an accurate account of his acts and proceedings in the premises to the Episcopal Registry when thereunto lawfully required and to these ends he has given pledges namely John Kneen and Thomas Kneale of the Parish of Bride who have entered into and executed the usual Bond in presence of the Court. Decretum Est. T.A. Corlett WHEREAS the Ecclesiastical Court of this Diocese, hath this day granted administration of all and singular the Goods of John Christian deceased, to _________ Kneale. AND WHEREAS Thomas Kneale of _________ in the Parish of Bride and John Kneen of _______ in the Parish of Bride have agreed to become pledges for the said ________ Kneale for the due administration of the said Estate according to law. Therefore know all men by these Presents, that we, the said Thomas Kneale and John Kneen hereby bind and oblige ourselves and our Executors and Administrators as pledges for the said ________ Kneale for the due and faithful administration of the goods and effects of the said deceased according to law. And in his default we bind ourselves and our Executors and Administrators to be answerable to all parties interested in the said Estate, or the Administration thereof.
