36 Bride 1861 The humble petition of Mrs Judith Joughin of the parish of Bride relict of Mark Joughin deceased. Sheweth: That Mark Joughin your petitioner's husband departed this life on or about the 1st day of May last having first duly made and published his last will and testament in writing whereof he appointed your petitioner Executrix and at a Chapter Court holden at Ramsey on the 31st day of May last your petitioner was about to prove the said will when William Joughin and Benjamin Joughin your petitioners sons appeared and moved for a hold to examine witnesses specially before the Register That the said Mark Joughin died possessed of property of a perishable nature and requiring care and attention and your petitioner is therefore desirous of being sworn administratrix pendente lite of the said estate of the said Mark Joughin. Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing hereof and an early day and that your Worship may be pleased to appoint your petitioner administratrix pendente lite of the estate of the said Mark Joughin and she will pray. Lamothe for petr Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at Ramsey on Saturday the 8th day of June instant at 1/2 past nine a clock in the forenoon whereof all proper parties are to have due notice.
