In the name of God Amen,
I Frederick Anderson of the town of Douglas being weak in body but of a
sound disposing mind memory and judgement at the making hereof do make this
my last will and testament in manner as follows.
I leave and bequeath unto my son Quine Anderson ten pounds weight of loaf
bread weekly to  be given him by my son Robert Anderson during his natural
life time.
I leave and bequeath unto my son Robert Anderson the one half or moiety that
do belong unto me of those lands estate and premises called Ballaguig in the
parish of Jurby with the one half of the dwelling houses and out offices
likewise the one half of the Folly Ballaguig in the parish of Jurby namely
all what I myself do at present enjoy hereby debaring and restraining and
prohibiting him from selling or mortgaging any part thereof neither to
contract or subject the said lands and premises whatsoever in any kind or
manner in debts.  And in case my son Robert is to die without lawful issue
then the aforesaid lands and premises to descend to my daughter Jane
Catherine Bailey who is likewise hereby debared o selling or mortgaging any
part thereof.  And it is my will and desire that in the event of my son
Frederick Anderson who is supposed to be in America will come home to the
island he is to possess and enjoy the whole of the said lands and estate of
Ballaguig with the houses there from as well as that parcel called Folly
Ballaguig which is situated in the parish of Jurby but at taken possession
of the whole of my title and interest unto those lands and premises he is
hereby bound to pay or cause to be paid unto his brother Robert Anderson the
sum of four pounds sterling yearly and every year and likewise to his sister
Jane Catharine Bailey the sum of four pounds yearly during their lifetime
and the same to be a lien and charge on the aforesaid lands and premises.
It is to be understood that he is to pay unto Robert his brother and Jane
Catharine his sister eigthty pounds each but the interest of the same they
are to get during their life time and the principal to be for their children
share and share alike and if Robert hath no lawful issue then his eight
pounds to be divided between the children of Jane Catharine Bailey.
 I leave and  bequeath unto the poor of the parish of Jurby the sum of one
pound legacy.
Lastly I nominate appoint and constitute William Gelling of the town of
Douglas and my daughter Jane Catharine Bailey joint executors and residuary
legatee of this my last will and testament my daughter to be executrix and
whole and sole of all my goods chattels and effects moveable or immoveable.
William Gelling as aforesaid as executor in trust to see my wishes and
intents brought into effect and further I will that if in case any of my
three children namely Quine Anderson, Robert Anderson and my daughter Jane
Catharine Bailey shall or will go to law among themselves in any way or
manner concerning this my last will and testament that the person so
offending is to be deprived of receiving any benefits from this my last will
and testament
In witness hereunto I set my name this the Twenty third day of February one
