This is the last will of me Patrick Cannell of KioneDroghad in the parish
of Michael made this eighteen day of October in the year or our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and sixty four being of sound mind memory and
understanding.
I revoke all previous testamentary instruments.
I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Eleanor the wife of James Cleator
the sum of sixty pounds free from the control of her husband or any other
person and her receipt only will be binding and lawful to
cancel the said legacy and if she will die before being entitled to the
said legacy then I bequeath the said sum to her daughter Jane Cleator and
also a bed and bedding.
I leave to my son Patrick the sum of one pound.
I leave to my son William the sum of thirty pounds.
I leave to my daughter Ann the wife of Andrew Joughin the sum of ten pounds.
I leave to my son John the sum of forty pounds.
I leave to my son Robert Thomas now in America the sum of one hundred
pounds.
I bequeath to my daughter Catherine to be at her own disposal my
meadow situate in the parish of Ballaugh commonly called the Curragh
Beg.  And also the sum of two hundred pounds as legacy, with a bed and
bedding.
I bequeath to my granddaughter Jane Cleator the sum of eighty pounds also a
bed and bedding.
I leave to my daughter Jane the wife of Robert Clague the sum of twenty
pounds
It is also my wish will and decree that none of the aforesaid legacies is
to bear interest and that no legacy is to be paid till after the decease of
myself and my wife or the longest liver or survivor of us.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my dearly beloved wife Eleanor
Cannell whole and sole executrix of this my last will and testament and
residuary legatee of the rest residue and remainder of all my goods and
effects cash credits.

Signed by the said Patrick Cannell as his last will in the presence of us
being present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the
presence of each other subscribe our names as witnesses this 8th
Oct 1864.

At a Chapter Court held in Peel on the 26th day of May 1865. Will proved and
probate granted to Eleanor Cannel widow

Andrew Joughin and ann Joughin his wife of Los Angeles Calif USA
received from Patrick Cannell of KM IOM executor of Eleanor Cannell the same
place who was executrix of the will of her deceased husband
Patrick of the parish of Kirk Michael probate whose said will was
granted  on 6th of October 1888
Jane Cleator received £80 sterling and a bed and bedding who is now
the wife of Evan Corlett of the town of Ramsey farmer 22 Mar 1875 Jane is
the grand daughter of Patrick Cannell
Robert Clague of Poortown in parish of German Blacksmith and Jane otherwise
Cannel his wife daughter of Patrick Cannell deceased received £20 4 Sep 1875.
Catherine Cannell received £200 
William Cannell Clay County Nebraska 25 Feb 1876

Eleanor Cleator wife of James Cleator of Ramsey  £60 and a bed and
bedding on 22 day of March 1875.
