49 Michael In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Clark relict of Christopher Clark of Ballyre KK Michael Isle of Man being in good health, but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament in form and manner following this 21st day of May 1861. In the first place I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial. Secondly I leave to all cravers the sum of six pence each. I leave to my son William Clark the sum of one pound as legacy. I leave to my daughters Elizabeth Clark and Catharine Clark, Margaret the wife of John Cormode, Charlotte the wife of William Gell and Eleanor the wife of William Caine the sum of twenty shillings each as legacy. I leave to Ann Daugherty my niece the sum of one pound as legacy. I leave to my son John Clark and Jane Clark now living with me the whole of the crop and stock, household furniture and other effects both moveable and immoveable share and share alike as their legacies. I leave to my son Thomas Clark now of Aigbarth Road nears Liverpool all my right title property and interest of in and unto the whole of my moiety or share of the lands, houses and premises part of the quarterland of Ballyre situate in the parish of Michael aforesaid, who is to possess and enjoy the same after my decease and I also nominate and appoint my said son Thomas Clark to be executor in trust of this my last will and testament and I do hereby ratify and confirm the same to be my proper act and deed and have caused my mark to be put to my name the day and year before written.
