In the name of God Amen.
I Robert Corlett of Ballakinnag in the parish of Ballaugh calling to mind
the uncertainty of this mortal life do proceed to make and publish this
my last will and testament in manner following.
First I commit my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial. Secondly
I leave and bequeath unto my son Thomas the sum of five shillings as legacy.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Catharine wife of John
Watterson the sum of five shillings.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Ann wife of the last Charles
Kaighin deceased the sum of five shillings
Fifthly I leave  and bequeath unto my daughter Judith wife of James
Corlett the sum of fifty pounds as legacy which said sum of fifty pounds
is payable at or after my decease by my son Thomas for and by a certain Deed
of Settlement which I give him on or about the 20th day of Jan
1860.  And more particularly described therein
Sixthly I leave and bequeath unto my grand daughter Isabella Jane
Fargher daughter of my daughter Catharine the sum of twenty pounds Seventhly
I leave and bequeath unto my son John who now resides abroad
a certain parcel of intack land commonly called and known as Lhenny Cli
Currey and also another parcel of intack land called and known as the
Ellan both parcel of said lands being situated in the parish of Ballaugh
and as they are at present bounded and known subject nevertheless to my said
son John and his heirs and assigns paying to my daughter Jane the sum of one
hundred pounds sterling for the same but in the event of my said son John
and his heirs and assigns neglecting or refusing to pay to
my said daughter the said sum of one hundred pounds before the expiration of
eighteen months from the day of my decease, then I leave devise and bequeath
unto my said daughter Jane the whole of my right, title and interest in and
to the aforesaid parcels of intack lands
absolutely and forever.
Eighthly I leave to all persons who  have a right to participate in this my
last will and testament but whose names are not mentioned herein the
sum of one shilling each.

27 May 1872 Isabella Fargher received  from Jane Corlett  20 lbs
sterling  left her by her grandfather.

16 Oct 1868  Jane Corlett sworn executor  with pledges William Tear of the
village and John Teare of Ballakinnag

10 Apr 1877 - James Corlett and Judith his wife received from Thomas Corlett
the sum of fifty pounds sterling .
