In the name of God Amen.
I Mary Anne Dawson (widow) being of sound mind memory and understanding at
the making hereof but remembering the uncertainty of life; do make publish
and declare this my last will and testament in way
and manner following:
First:  I commend my soul to Almighty God and my body to a Christian burial.
Item:  I leave and bequeath to my son Philip son of Philip Bridson the
bedstead bedding and furniture that is in my room after the decease of
Philip John and Margaret his wife or the survivor of either or them. Item:
I leave and bequeath to Philip son of Thomas Gelling and Anne Esther
Gelling a feather bed, bolster and pillows.
Item:  I leave and bequeath to my grandchildren Philip, Maria Christian,
William Coulthard, Thomas Arthur, Esther Jane, John Macadam and Catherine
Alice Bridson the whole of the remainder of my furniture,
cattle and implements upon the estate of Ballaquinney beg reserving the use
of said furniture cattle and implements to my son Philip John and Margaret
his wife or the survivor of either of them for their natural
lives and the said Philip John and Margaret his wife or either of them is
to be allowed to make merchandize of the cattle from time to time as he the
said Philip John and Margaret his wife or the survivor of either of
them may think proper at the time decease of the said Philip John and
Margaret his wife or the survivor of either of them then the whole of the
goods are to be equally divided amongst the before named children.
Item: I nominate constitute and appoint my grandson Philip Bridson my whole
and sole executor of the  remainder of my goods and effects what nature
soever they may be.  As witness my name or mark this 28th day of April 1873.
