		Margaret Skillicorn of the
		parish of Lonan, Widow

Sheweth
That petitioner's husband
John Thomas Skillicorn of
the parish of Lonan departed
this life on or about the 19th
day of September last intestate
and it is necessary administration
of his Estate should be granted
to some fit and proper person.

Wherefore petitioner prays a
hearing hereto and that

person or to such other

at Ramsey on the 12th day of December

Upon hearing this petition in the

Thomas Skillicorn late of the [Kerrow]
Moar in the parish of Lonan on or 
about the 26th day of September 1873
departed this life intestate this
Court hath Decreed Margaret
Skillicorn, widow, the relict of the

all and singular the personal Estate 
and Effects of said deceased and
accordingly, she is sown well and
truly to administer the said Estate
and Effects of the said deceased
by paying his just debts and
funeral expenses so far forth as
the said Estate and Effects will
extend and the Law bing her
and distributing the residual thereof
according to Law and to return
to the Episcopal Registry of this
Diocese a full true and perfect 
Inventory thereof with an accurate
account of her administration
thereof when thereunto lawfully

given pledges namely John Skillicorn
of Laxey in the parish of Lonan and
John Corlett of Ramsey in the parish
of Maughold who have entered
into and Executed the usual Bond
in presence of the Court

At an Ecclesiastical Court held at Ramsey
on the 12th day of December 1873.
Upon hearing this Petition in the presence of the Parties or their Advocates and
It being proved that John Thomas Skillicorn, late
of the Kerroomoar in the Parish of Lonan, on or about the 26th
day of September 1873, departed this life intestate

This Court hath decreed Margaret Skillicorn, Widow, the 
Relict of the said deceased Administratrix of All and Singular the personal Estate
and Effects of said deceased, and accordingly, she is sworn well and truly to administer the
said Estate and Effects of the said deceased by paying his just debts and funeral expenses so
far forth as the said Estate and Effects will extend and the Law bind her and distributing the
residue thereof according to Law, and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese a full,
true and perfect Inventory thereof, with an accurate account of her administration
thereof when thereunto lawfully required, and to these ends she hath given pledges,
namely, John Skillicorn of Laxey
in the Parish of Lonan and John Corlett
of Ramsey in the Parish of Maughold, who have
entered into and executed the usual Bond in presence of the Court.

Whereas the Ecclesiastical Court of this Isle and Diocese of Sodor and Mann hath this day
granted Administration of the 
Estate of John Thomas Skillicorn
late of Keroo moar in the Parish of Lonan
deceased to Margaret Skillicorn, his Widow.

And Whereas John Skillicorn, of Laxey
in the Parish of Lonan and John Corlett
of Ramsey in the Parish of Maughold
have agreed to become Pledges for the due and faithful Administration of the said Estate by the
said Margaret Skillicorn according to Law.

Now, know all Men by these presents, that we, the said John
Skillicorn and John Corlett hereby bind and
oblige ourselves, jointly and severally, and our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, firmly
by these presents as pledges for the said Margaret Skilicorn
that she shall well and truly administer, all and singular, the Personal Estate and Effects
of the said deceased according to Law.  And in her default we bind ourselves, and each
of us, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to be answerable and responsible for the whole
to the said Court, and to all parties interested in the said Estate and Effects, or the adminis-
tration thereof, in the place and stead of the said Margaret
Skillicorn.

Witness our subscription, this 12th day December in the Year of our Lord
One thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy three.
