The humble petition of Emily Dinwoody of the parish of Arbory Widow.
Sheweth:  That your petitioner's late husband the Reverend William Dinwoody
departed this life the 14th day of October 1876 leaving your petitioner him
surviving.
That at a court holden at Castle Rushen this day Letters of Administration
of the Estate and effects of the said William Dinwoody were granted to James
Mylchreest of the town of Castletown.
That your petitioner is desirous of retaining the household furniture and
effects belonging to her said late husband and now in her possession paying
to the said administrator a fair valuation for the same
Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing hereof and that your Worship may
be pleased to order the Sumner General or the Sumner of Arbory to summon and
swear a jury of such good and lawful men as to your Worhip may seem meet to
value the said goods as between seller and purchaser and that the said
administrator be authorized to allow your petitioner to retain the same on
her paying to him the amount of such valuation. And that she may have such
other relief as is meet and she will pray.

At an Eccl Court held at Castletown on the 27th day of October 1876. It
being proved that the Reverend William Thomas Dinwoody late of the Vicarage
in the parish of Arbory on or about the 14th day of October 1876 departed
this life Vicar of Arbory, and intestate.
This court hath decreed James Mylchreest of Castletown administrator of all
and singular the personal Estate and Effects of said deceased and
accordingly he is sworn well and truly to administer the said Estate and
Effects, of the said deceased by paying his just debts and funeral expenses
so far forth as the said Estate and Effects will extend and the law bind him
and distributing the residue thereof according to Law, and to return to the
Episcopal Registry of this diocese a full, true, and perfect inventory
thereof, with an accurate account of his administration thereof when
thereunto lawfully required; and to these ends he hath given pledges namely
George Bradshaw of Castletown in the parish of Malew and Edward Martin of
Castletown in the parish of Malew, who have entered into and executed the
usual Bond in presence of the Court.  Decretum est  R. Jebb
