	The humble petition of Mary
	Richardson of the town of Douglas

	Shewith,
		That Elizabeth Wilson alias 
	Richardson of the said town departed
	this life some short time since having first
	duly made and published her last will and
	testament in writing whereof she appointed
	your Petitioner Executrix	
	
		That your Petitioner is desirous that
	Probate of the said will should be granted to
	your Petitioner in due form of law
			Wherefore Petitioner prays
			a hearing herof and that
			Your worship may be
			pleased to grant Probate of
			the said Will to your
			Petition in due form of
			Law And Petitioner will
			ever pray etc. etc.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an
Ecclesiastical Court to be holden at Douglas on Thursday
the 29th day of June 1876 at 10 oclock in the forenoon having all proper parties and
persons are to have due and lawful notice.

	Given at Douglas this 28th June 1876.

Whereas, the ecclesiastical Court of this Isle and Diocese of sodor and mann hath this day
granted probate of the
Will of Elizabeth Wilson
late of Douglas in the Parish of Braddan Widow,
deceased, to Mary Richardson, the Executrix.

And Whereas, Henry Kneale of Douglas
in the Parish of Braddan and Margaret Shelley
of Douglas in the Parish of Braddan, Widow
have agreed to become Pledges for the due and faithful Administration of the said Estate by the
said Mary Richardson according to Law.

Now, know all men by these presents, that we, the said Henry
Kneale and Margaret shelley hereby bind and
oblige ourselves, jointly and severally, and our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, firmly by
these presents, as pledges for the said Mary Richardson
that she shall well and truly administer, all and singular, the Personal Estate and Effects
of the said deceased, according to Law.  And in case default we bind ourselves, and each
of us, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to be answerable and responsible for the whole
to the said Court, and to all parties interested in the said Estate and Effects, or the administration
thereof, in the place and stead of the said Mary Richardson.

Witness our Subscriptions, this 29th day of June in the Year of our Lord
One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy six.

I Elizabeth Wilson do hereby make my last
Will & Testatement as follows after payment of
my debts & funeral expense, I give devise &
bequeath to my daughter Mary Richardson
the whole of my right interest in the house
in Athol St.Douglas wherein I now reside
and I do hereby direct and appoint my
Trustee Henry Kneale Jr. to convey to my
said daughter immediately after my
decease my said interest in the said house
by good & sufficient deed or deed necessary
in Law.  I also bequeath to my said daughter
Mary Richardson the whole of my personal
estate of every description for her own use
absolutely and lastly I do hereby appoint
my said daughter sole executrix of this my
last Will hereby revoking all former wills
by me made or executed as Witness my
X mark made this 24th day of April 1876.

	At an Ecclesiastical Court held at Douglas
	on the 29th day of June 1876 
William Isdale and John Berrill the subscribing witnesses
to the execution of the foregoing paper writing purporting to be
the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Wilson late of the
town of Douglas, Widow, deceased, who died on or about
the month of April 1876.  Having made oath on the Holy
Evangelists Elizabeth Wilson when of sound
and disposing mind memory and understanding duly
signed and acknowledged the same as ? for her last Will
and Testament in their presence and at the same
time in the presence of the said Testatrix and of each 
other subscribed the same in attestation thereof & Mary
Richardson, Spinster, a daughter of the deceased,
Executrix in said Will named, is therefore sworn well and
truly to fulfil and execute said Will and to administer
all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said
Deceased according to Law by paying the just debts and
Funeral expenses of the said Deceased and the Legacies
contained in her said Will so far forth as her estate
and effects will thereto extend and the Law bind her
and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese
of Sodor and Mann a full true and perfect inventory
of all and singular the said Estate and Effects with
an accurate account of her Administration thereof
when thereunto lawfully required.  And to these ends
she hath given pledges namely Henry Kneale and
Margaret Shelley, Widow, both of the town of Douglas
in the parish of Braddan, who have entered into and
executed the usual Bond in the presence of the Court.
