At a Chapter Court held at Peel on the 19th day of May 1882.
It being proved that Margaret Dinwoody of Ballnagarraghan in the parish of
German on or about the fifteenth day of April 1882, departed this life a
widow and intestate.
This court hath decreed Emily Dinwoody of Castletown widow administratrix of
all and singular the personal Estate and Effects of said decease, and
accordingly she is sworn well and truly to administer the said Estate and
effects of the said deceased by paying her just debts and funeral expenses
so far forth as the said Estate and Effects will extend and the Law bind her
and distributing the residue thereof according to Law, and to return to the
Episcopal Registry of this Diocese a full, true, and perfect inventory
thereof, with an accurate account of her administration thereof when
thereunto lawfully required; and to these ends she hath given pledges namely
John Corlett of St Johns in the parish of German, Clerk, and Thomas Moore of
St Johns in the parish of German who have entered into and executed the
usual Bond in the presence of the court.
Whereas the Eccl Court of this Isle and Diocese of Sodor and Mann hath this
day granted Letters of Administration of the estate of Margaret Dinwoody
late of Ballagarraghyn in the parish of German, widow, deceased, to Mrs
Emily Dinwoody of Castletown in the parish of Malew widow.
And whereas, the Reverend John Corlett of St Johns in the parish of German
and Thomas Moore of St Johns in the parish of German aforesaid have agreed
to become pledges for the due and faithful administration of the said Estate
by the said Emily Dinwoody according to Law.
Now, Know all Men by These Presents, that we the said John Corlett and
Thomas Moore hereby bind and oblige ourselves, jointlyand severally, and our
Heirs, Executors, Adminstrators, firmly by these presents, as pledges for
the said Emily Dinwoody that she shall well and truly administer, all and
singular, the Personal Estate and Effects of the said deceased, according to
Law.  And in her default we bind ourselves, and each of us, our Heirs,
Executors, and Administrators, to be answerable and responsible for the
whole to the said Court, and to all parties interested in the said Estate
and effects, or the administation thereof, in the place and stead of the
said Emily Dinwoody.
Witness our subscriptions, this 19th day of May in the Year of our Lord One
Thousand eight Hundred and eighty two.
