It being proved that Elizabeth Corlett of Lezayre Terrace in the parish of
Lezayre on or about the fifteenth day of August 1882 departed this life a
widow and intestate.
This court hath decreed William Crennell of the town of Ramsey
Merchant administrator of all and singular the personal estate and effects
of said deceased and accordingly he is sworn well and truly to administer
the estate and effects of said deceased with pledges Alfred Corlett and
Elizabeth Corlett spinster of Ramsey in the parish of
Lezayre.
Whereas by Indenture bearing date the 21st day of Dec 1857 and made between
John Corlett then of the town of Ramsey( Tide waiter) since deceased of the
one part and James Corlett of the said town Painter
since deceased of the other part the said John Corlett sold and conveyed to
the said James Corlett certain real estates in the said indenture
particularly described upon trust for (among others) the executing
parties hereto.
And whereas William Crennell of the town of Ramsey Merchant is now
the trustee under the said indenture.
And whereas by indenture dated the 22nd day of March 1877 Elizabeth Corlett
of Ramsey widow sold transferred and conveyed to the said
William Crennell as trustee for (among others) the parties executing
these presents certain real and personal estate in such indenture described.
And whereas said William Crennell has also been appointed
administrator of the estate of the said Elizbeth Corlett deceased and has as
such administrator and trustee under the said indentures conveyed
and transferred to the executing parties hereto the real and personal estate
of which they were respectively entitled and has called upon
them to execute this release know all men therefore by these presents that
the executing parties hereto do hereby respectively own and acknowledge to
have received from the said William Crennell
administrator and trustee as aforesaid all and singular the several
conveyances and sums of money to which they were entitled under the said
deeds or otherwise and they and each of them do hereby release acquit and
discharge the said William Crennell from all or any claims or demands under
the said indentures or as administrator as aforesaid save and except as to
any rights they may possess or be entitled to under the said indentures in
case Thomas Henry Corlett his heirs and assigns have
no claim under the said indentures by reason of death or otherwise, witness
the named of the parties this 4th day of August 1883.
