This is the last will and testament of me William Edwin Young of Number Nine
Eplanade in the town of Douglas agent and accountant.  I being of sound
disposing mind memory and understanding at the making hereof.
I do hereby revoke all wills and testamentary writing by me at any time
heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last will and testament.
I give and devise unto my wife Christiana Bailey Young all that dwelling
house and premises situate and being Number Nine Esplanade in the said town
of Douglas and the plot or parcel of ground situate in the lane in the rear
thereof the whole of the said premises being in my occupation together with
all appurtenances thereunto belonging To hold to her for and during her
natural life if she shall so long coontinues my widow and unmarried and from
and after her decease or second marriage whichever shall first happen I give
and devise the  same unto my daughters living at my decease and their
respective heirs and assigns as tenants in common in equal share Provied
always and I declare that if any one or more of my said daughters shall die
under the age of twenty one years and unmarried then as well the original
share of every or any daughter so dying as the share or shares which by
virtue of this present clause shall have survived or accrued to her of and
in the said hereinbefore mentioned Real estate shall go over and be to the
use of the others or other of my said daughters and their or her heirs and
assigns and if more then  one as tenant in common in equal shares.  And as
to all other my Real Estate of every nature and quality and whereosever
situate of or to which I shall at my decease be in anywise possessed or
entitled I give and devise the same unto my said wife Christiana Bailey
Young her heirs and assigns absolutelyand forever.
I give and bequeath unto  my son William Edwin Young all my office furniture
fixtures and effects and all  my mathematical instrument and as to all ths
rest residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects whatsoever and
wheresoever I give and bequeath the same unto my said wife Christian Bailey
Young for her own absolute use benefit and disposal.
I nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Christian Bailey Young
executrix of this my will.
In witness whereof I the said William Edwin Young have hereunto subscribed
my name  this the eleventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and eight
three 1883
