Lonan 1888 N° 69 In the name of God Amen I Margaret Kelly of Old Laxey, in the parish of Lonan, spinster, do make this my last will and testament in manner following hereby revoking and cancelling all wills heretofore made by me First I leave devise and bequeath to George Quayle (senior) Old Laxey, in the Said parish, the dark coloured set of Chest of Drawers that are upstairs, and also the four-legged Table in the Parlour of my House Next I leave devise and bequeath to Thomas Killip of Old Laxey, in the said parish, Blacksmith, the Card Table in the parlour, also the Copper Kettle and the Paisley Shawl To Elizabeth Mylroi (daughter of John Mylroi, of South Laxey Hill, miner) I leave and bequeath the whole of my wearing apparel and if in the opinion of my Executors, this is not sufficient compensation for any Services, she may at any time render to me, then I hereby order and request my hereinafter mentioned Executors to give to the said Elizabeth Mylroi a feather bed also. After paying my just debts and funeral Expenses (including a grave in the new portion of Lonan Churchyard with a suitable Headstone thereto) the whole of my real and personal Estate of whatsoever nature or description remaining, is to be disposed of as my Executors think proper I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Thomas Killip Blacksmith and George Quayle, Machine Man, both of Old Laxey in the Said parish of Lonan, my Executors and have hereunto subscribed my name this the First day of August in the year Eighteen hundred & Eighty Seven (1887) Margaret Kelly Witnessed by James Williamson Robert McCua
