Ramsey 1897 No 124

The humble petition of James Christian and John Corjeag both of the
Village of Michael.
Sheweth:
That John Rogers of Bark Lane in the town of Ramsey but at one time of
Lhergy Vreck in the parish of Michael departed this life on the 18 instant
having first duly made and published his last will and testament in
writing whereof he appointed your petitioners joint executors.
That your petitioners are desirous of taking upon themselves the burden and
execution of the same
wherefore your petitioners pray a hearing hereof and that your Honor
may be pleased to grant probate of the will of the said John Rogers and
to appoint and swear your petitioners executors thereunder in due form
of law and your petitioners will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard before me, at a court to
be holden at Ramsey on Tuesday the 25th day of May 1897.  Whereof all proper
persons and parties are to have due notice.
Given this 21st day of May 1897

This is the last will and testament of me John Rogers at present
residing in Number Seven Bark Lane in the town of Ramsey but formerly
of Lherghy Vreck in the parish of Michael farmer.   I give and bequeath
my watch and chain to William Francis Crowe of Church Street in the
town of Ramsey Baker
I give devise and bequeath all the rest, residue, and remainder of my
property real and personal of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situate to
Charles August Davies of the Promenade, Ramsey, Surgeon.  I do nominate and
appoint James Christian of the Village of Michael and John Corjeag also of
the Village Michael joint executors of this my last will
and testament.  And do hereby revoke and cancel all former wills
codicils and testamentary writings by me at any time heretofore made In
witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name by affixing my
cross mark hereto this Seventeenth day of May One thousand eight hundred and
ninety seven.        John Rogers his x mark
Signed executed and delivered by the said testator John Rogers (by affixing
his cross mark) as his last will and testament in the presence
of us present at the same time who in his presence and at his request
(and after the said will had been read over to him the said testator) have
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses,

John Corjeage and James Christian sworn as executors 25 May 1897
