This is the last will and testament of me Emily Parkinson wife of Mark
Parkinson of the town of Douglas Printer.
Whereas by the will of my mother Jane Cannell dated the seventeenth
day of December one thousand eight hundred and ninety probate whereof was at
a court holden at Douglas aforesaid on the twenty ninth day of January one
thousand eight hundred and ninety four granted to the said Mark Parkinson
the said Jane Cannell devised unto the said Mark
Parkinson his heirs and assigns her interest in the dwelling house and
premises Sixty Two Strand Street Douglas aforesaid In trust to permit
her son Samuel to use occupy and enjoy the same for the term of his natural
life and after his deceased Upon trust for the child if only one or
all the children equally if more than one of the said Samuel Cannel who
being a son or sons shall attain the age of twenty one years or being a
daughter or daughters shall attain that age or be previously married.
And in case there should not be any children or other issue of the said
Samuel Cannell who should attain a vested interest under the said trust upon
trust to make Sale and Public Auction or Private Treaty of her said interest
in the said premises and to divide the net proceeds thereof into three equal
shares and pay one of such shares to such person or persons and if more than
one in such shares and in such manner as I should by
Deed or Will appoint and Whereas by her said will the said Jane Cannell
devised her house Fifty Athol Street to the said Mark Parkinson Upon Trust
as to one undivided moiety thereof to convey the same to such person or
persons as I should by deed or will appoint now therefore in exercise of the
powers for this purpose given to me by the said will and
of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf I do by this my
last will and testament direct and appoint that all and every the trust
property and moneys ever which by the said will I have such or any
power of appointment and that all property over which I shall at my decease
have any power of appointment and that all property over which
I shall at my decease have any power of appointment or disposing power
whatever shall from and after my death remain and be fore the said Mark
Parkinson absolutely I hereby revoke all proper wills by me made and I
appoint the said Mark Parkinson executor hereof. E. Parkinson.
