Rushen 1903 239 The humble petition of Sarah Jane Lace of Cronk Road Port St Mary in the parish of Rushen spinster and of Thomas Lace Gentleman of the same address. Sheweth as follows: That the late Herbert Wright Lace bachelor deceased was your petitioner's brother and he died at the Cronk Road Port St Mary in the parish of Rushen on the 29th day of July 1903, Intestate. That it is necessary that administration of the estate of the said deceased within this Isle should be granted either to your petitioner Sarah Jane Lace or to some other fit and proper person or persons. Wherefore your petitioners humbly prays a hearing hereof and that your Honor may be pleased to grant administration of the estate and effects of the said deceased within this Isle to your petitioner Sarah Jane Lace or to some other fit and proper person or persons and your petitioner will ever pray. H. Shortridge Clark advocate for petitioner Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard before me at a court to be holden at Douglas Isle of Man on Friday the Eleventh day of September 1903 at the hour of eleven o'clock in the forenoon. Whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due and lawful notice. Given at Douglas this Ninth day of September 1903.
