The humble petition of Sarah Jane Kelly of Number Three Victoria
Terrace in the town of Douglas Widow.
Sheweth:
1. Petitioner's grandfather William Kerruish formerly of Ballellin in the
parish of Maughold departed this life many years ago but having along
with his wife Sarah Kerruish first made and published a joint last will
and testament bearing date the 11th day of January 1858 whereof the survivor
was appointed executor and the said Sarah Kerruish survived
the said William Kerruish and having proved the said will was sworn
executrix thereunder at a court holden at Ramsey on the 12th day of October
1860.
3.  The said Sarah Kerruish died in the year 1863 without having made a
further will appointing an executor and at a court holden at Ramsey on
the 18th December1863 the aforementioned will was proved as her will
and William Kelly your petitioner's father late of Onchan but now
deceased was sworn administrator of her estate with the said will
annexed.  The only outstanding personal estate of the said William
Kerruish is a small land to which petitioner is absolutely entitled.
Wherefore petitioner humbly prays a hearing hereof and that your Honor may
be pleased to grant administration with the said will annexed of the
personal estate not administered of the said William Kerruish decease to
petitioner or some other fit and proper person and petitioner will ever
pray.

In the good of William Kerruish late of Ballaellin in the parish of
Maughold Farmer.
Know all men by these presents we Sarah Jane Kelly of No 3 Victoria Terrace
in the town of Douglas widow, James Caine of No 1 Woodhill Terrace in the
said town of Douglas Builder, Thomas Richard Lewin of Victoria No 2 in the
Village of Onchan are jointly and severally any two
of us jointly bound unto our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of
seventy five pounds to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our
said Lord the King, his heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves
jointly and severally, and any two of us joint, our Executors
and Administrators, firmly by these presents.
As witness our subscription the fifteenth of February in the year of our
Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Four.
The condition of our obligation is such, that if the above named Sarah
Jane Kelly hereinafter called the Administrator who seeks to obtain Letters
of Administration of all and singular the personal estate and effects left
unadministered by deceased executor of Wm Kerruish late of the parish of
Maughold farmer but now deceased, who died in or about the year of 1860 at
Ballallen aforesaid; do, when lawfully called on in that behalf, make or
cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the
personal estate and effects of the said deceased, which
have or shall come into his hands, possession, or knowledge, or into the
hands of any person for him and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be
exhibited, into the proper Registry in that  behalf whenever required
by law so to do:  And the same personal estate and effects and  all other
personal estate and effects of the said deceased which shall at any time
come into the hands or possession of the administrator or into the hands or
possession of any other person or persons for him or which without default
might have come into the hands or possession of the Administrator, say, do
pay the debts and liabilities of the said deceased
so far as the said personal estate and effects will extend and the law
bind the administrator, and do deliver and pay unto the person or persons
legally entitled thereto all the rest and residue of the said personal
estate and effects, then this obligation to be void and of no effect or
else to remain in full force and virtue.
