Maughold 1904 289 To His Honour Deemster Moore. The humble petition of Robert Corlett Lace of Hanley Villas in the town of Ramsey. Sheweth: 1. That Catherine Lace late of Cardle Voar in the parish of Maughold widow mother of your petitioner died on the 14th day of July 1904 intestate. 2. That it is necessary that administration of the estate of the said Catherine Lace should be granted to some fit and proper person and your petitioner is desirous that the same should be granted to him. Wherefore your petitioner humbly prays a hearing hereof and that your Honour may be pleased to grant administration of the estate of the said Catherine Lace to him and he will every pray. F. M. Lamothe for Petitioner. Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at District Court to be held at Ramsey on Tuesday the 4th day of October 1904 at 1145 o'clock forenoon. Whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due and lawful notice. Given at Ramsey this 23rd day of September 1904. S. Stevenson Moore. At a Court held at Ramsey the 18th day of October 1904 by adjournment 4 Oct 1904. Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties or their advocates, and it being proved that Catherine Lace late of Cardle Voar in the parish of Maughold widow on or about the 14th day of July 1904 departed this life and intestate. This Court hath decreed Philip Moore Callow Kermode of the town of Ramsey Esquire Sumner General of this Isle administrator of all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said deceased, and accordingly he is sworn well and truly to administer the said estate and effects of the said deceased by paying her just debts and funeral expenses so far forth as the said estate and effects will extend, and the law bind him and distributing the residue according to law, and to return to the proper Registry a full, true, and perfect inventory of all and singular the said estate and effects with an accurate account of his administration thereof, when thereunto lawfully required.
