Christian of Taubman Street in 
the town of Ramsey


Sheweth:-
1.           William Edwin Christian late of Westbourne Road in the town
Ramsey father of your Petitioner departed this life on or about 
the 23rd day of November 1903 intestate.
*           It is necessary that letters of Administration of the Estate
and effects of the said William Edwin Christian be granted to
some fit and proper person or persons and your Petitioner is
desirous that such administration be granted to himself
WHEREFORE your Petitioner 
Humbly prays a hearing hereof 
and that your Honor may be 
pleased to grant Administration 
of the estate and effects of the

Taubman Street Ramsey and Margaret Ann Corkill his wife.


                  Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a

February 1904 at 11.15 o’clock in the forenoon. Whereof all proper
parties and persons are to have due and lawful notice.

                                            At a Court held at Ramsey
                                            the 29th day of February 1904

Upon hearing this Petition in presence of the parties or
their advocates, and it being proved that William
Edwin Christian late of Westbourne  
Road in the Town of Ramsey
of ----- on or about the 23rd day
of November 1903 departed this life at Westbourne
Road aforesaid and Intestate,     

     This Court hath decreed William Christian
of Taubman Street in the Said
Town of Ramsey Mariner a son
of the Said deceased Administrator of All and
Singular the Personal Estate and Effects of the said
Deceased and accordingly he is sworn well and truly
to administer the said Estate and Effects of the said
Deceased by paying his just debts and Funeral
expenses so far forth as the said Estate and Effects
will extend, and the Law bind him and distributing
the residue according to law, and to return to the 
proper Registry a full, true, and perfect inventory of
all and singular the said Estate and Effects, with an
accurate account of his administration thereof when
thereunto lawfully required

Know all men by these presents that we 1. William Christian
of Taubman street in the town of Ramsey Mariner
Joseph Cannell of Ramsey Draper and Robert
Lavery of Ramsey Painter and Plumber
are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our             
Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of 2. One hundred (£100)
pounds to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said   
Lord the King, his heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves 
jointly and severally, and any two of us jointly, our Executors and                                      
Administrators firmly by these presents.

         As witness our subscription the 29th day of February 
         in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four

THE CONDITION of our obligation in such, that if the above
named William Christian
[hereinafter called the said Administrator ] the
intended Administrator of all and singular the personal estate and effects of
William Edwin Christian  late of
Westbourne Road Ramsey aforesaid
but now deceased, who died at Westbourne Road aforesaid on or about 
the twenty third day of November...

do, when lawfully called on in that behalf, make or cause to be made
a true and perfect  inventory of all and singular the personal estate and 
effects of the said deceased, which have or shall come into his 
hands possession, or knowledge, or into the hands of any other person 
for him and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be 
exhibited, into the proper Registry in that behalf whenever required by law
so to do: and the same Personal Estate, and effects and all other the
personal estate and effects of the said deceased which shall at any time      
come into the hands or possession of the said Administrator or into the
hands or possession of any other person or persons for him or which 
without fault might have come into the hands or possession of the said 
Administrator do well and truly administer according to law, that is to 
say, do pay the debts and liabilities of the said deceased so far as the 
said personal estate will extend and the law bind the Administrator , and
to deliver and pay unto the person or persons legally entitled thereto all the
rest and residue of the said personal estate and effects, then this obligation 
to be void and of no effect, or else to remain in full force and virtue.
